Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to local customers, supporting the sales team, assisting with our e-commerce operations, supporting warehouse activities such as shipping and receiving, and assisting with general operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Package and deliver products and parcels to individuals and businesses within the metro area
• Load, secure, transport and unload products and other cargo safely
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all traffic laws, company procedures and safety requirements
• Use a hand truck or dolly to safely move heavier items when required
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, answer basic questions and assist with delivery-related concerns
• Collect payments and obtain delivery signatures when required
• Support the sales team and e-commerce operations with delivery and related tasks
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the delivery vehicle
• Assist with general warehouse and operational duties, including shipping and receiving, organizing and moving products, cleaning and maintenance, snow and ice management in shared areas
  

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence with a minimum of 3 to 5-year insurable driving record
• Clear driver's abstract issued by the Motor Registration Division (MRD) of Newfoundland and Labrador
• Satisfactory criminal record check conducted through the RNC
• Safe and responsible driving habits
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to safely lift, carry and move products and packages
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist with different tasks as needed
